How to delete a map I downloaded for offline use?

Maps Pro allows you to download maps for offline use, see How do I download maps for offline use?. Depending on the area that you download, you can download a very large number of files on your hard drive.

If you have downloaded a country/region, you will find a "maps_pro_extraction" folder containing the countries you downloaded. Simply remove the file and restart Maps Pro to free some space:



Note: All your purchases are linked to your Microsoft account, so you will still be able to download it again anytime you want

If you have downloaded map tiles instead (images for browsing the map only), you only have to go to your download folder on your hard drive and delete the corresponding folder
