Organize Favorites in Folders o Directories/Search for favorites
It would be great if we are able to organize favorites in folders or directories and such, instead of having a very long list when looking for directions (e.g Folder "Friends' houses" and have each favorite in that one. Also, if it is posible to just type the name of the favorite place in the typing box for directions, instead of searching one by one...
Hello everyone and thanks for leaving this suggestion,
In the upcoming version of Maps Pro (v105), Favorites can now be organized in folders, with the hability to show/hide favorites and export them as GPX
Thanks for your feedback!

I agree, at the moment organizing and managing Favorites is not optimal. For example, deleting a Favorite only works in map view. Organizing by folder would also be helpfull. Using Groups would also help, with the possibility to add a favorite to multiple groups.

I agree - as Favorites, or as "own POI". Additional sugestions/needs:
1. Possibilies to import favorites as kmz-, kml- or csv-files into a selected group/folder.
2. With a option to address/set own icons for each folder and it's points to be displayed on the map.
3. With options to add description/url to each favorite/point. Picture as well?
4. Finally, when selecting one favorite folder, all corresponding points is displayed on the map.Gone to far? Reason: I would like to organize pois like LPG stations, camping sites, motorhome parkings a.s.o. as favorites. I am running Locus Pro on my Androids, This app's features are perfect for my needs, would be perfect to have similar ones in my Map Pro/w8 laptop!

Hello and thanks for this suggestion,
it is actually something I already thought of but didn't have time (yet) to do it!
I'm not sure which technique is best to organize favorite. You could assign each favorite to a "group", say "Friends" and they would be regrouped in the list in a friends category. You could also have a color for each group, so that you can easily differentiate them on the map.
The other way is like gmail, with "labels" (think hashtags), which mean that a favorite can be in several categories, like "Friends" and "Family" or something. But it would be more annoying to display in the favorite page and you couldn't do the color thing. Same for the directions listingWhat do you think?
