How to update Maps Pro via the Windows Store?
Check which version of Maps Pro you have
To check which version you are running, open Maps Pro, open the bottom menu (right-click or swipe from the bottom of your tablet), choose Help > What's new?:
You will see the changes about the last versions. At the top of the "Changes" section, you will see the version you are running, with its release date
Turn on automatic updates or check manually
To update the application, you need to update via the Windows Store. By default, updates are downloaded automatically via Windows Update. If that is not the case, check this page to learn how to turn on automatic app updates. This page will also explain how to search for update manually
Turn on automatic app updates
- On the Start screen, tap or click Store to open the Windows Store.
- Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings. (If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Settings.)
- Tap or click App updates.
- Make sure Automatically update my apps is set to Yes.
