How to have audio working when using Windows "N" edition?

European users can buy a special version of Windows called the "N" and "KN" edition (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/n-editions). 
This version come with no support for media-related technology. If you try to use Maps Pro with that version of Windows, you won't get any voice instructions

To fix that, you will need to install the Media Feature Pack from Microsoft.
