Test the installation on Windows 10 with SDcard install.
Just got a new Windows 10 tablet. Installed Maps Pro on the SD card (64Gb). At first the install failed until I discovered that the SD card slot was defective and intermittent. Once I got that fixed I could not install Maps Pro again, so I uninstalled it. Next I tried to install Maps Pro on the C drive (standard install). The install failed every time. The SD was not in the machine. I went through the registry and deleted any key/data that had "MapsPro" in it. Reinstalled perfectly. Obviously the uninstall did not completely clean up the SD card…

Great improvements since I last tried it! But....have a request
Just installed Maps Pro on a Windows 10 tablet with LTE and GPS. When using this app with windows location services, it is hard to tell when a GPS lock has been obtained or just an approximation of location from a cell or wifi connection It would be great if the number satellites linked and their strengths could be shown. Or at least when a “real” GPS fix is obtained, or more importantly, when the "real" GPS fix is lost. Keep up the great work.

Increase the visibility of the marker without necessarily increasing the size--may be add a circle around the arrow.

I'd like to see a shortcut to change off line map type on the fly
I command the program, when driving, with a remote controller and this command would be great to program in the remote and change map with the touch of a key as do now with the other shortcuts: zoom in and out and pan in four directions.1 vote -
Scan only for the presence of each offline map and do not load each offline map until required.
I have purchased multiple offline maps and the delay in launching the program is simply unacceptable. When launching the program, scan for available offline maps but do not load until a position on such maps is requested.

It would be necessary to be able to adjust the importance given to the factor "journey time" of one side and the factor "travel time" of the other. Indeed, I happen to choose a short route in distance that will force the passage through smaller routes more interesting when not in a hurry, for example on vacation.

add functionality to my jouney
add the ability to add/move the my journey track to my favorites along with the ability to edit that track. for example erase part of the track, draw in a trail, record directions as a trail.

The printing of tracks in W10 doesn't work properly. Often the track is only parly on the map or the track is not on the right spot.

Overview Map in Street View
I would like to see an Overview map while in street view, much like google maps has with the ability to jump the view up a distance by dragging in the overview rather than a LOT of clicks on the road ahead.

Download Road Construction Information as Overlay
Microsoft Street & Trips had an option to download current Road Construction information for the displayed route. It did so by connecting to the Microsoft MapPoint Web Service. Not sure if something like this is still possible, but I just tried it in S&T and it did show Road Construction for 2017

make OpenStreetMaps updating easier
I have downloaded OpenStreetMaps for all of the United States. They issue frequent updates. As you know, updating each state individually takes time and is tedious. It would be nice if there were a Download All button I could click and then leave my computer for an hour or two. Even better, if the button closed the application after all files were downloaded.

make the POI's available as a List rather than tiles. Enable managing POI's
It would be much easier to select POI's from a list rather than the large tiles. It would be nice to be able to manage the POI's, Delete ones you don't use and perhaps download NEW poi's such as restaurant/hotel chains much like you can do at poifactory.com to add to GPS software

For your own favorites, the name should also be displayed next to the symbol.

For developping applications using maps pro I need to import KML files with a commande line (to create batch, exe, php etc..)

Select destination directly from favorites screen
When I want to get directions to a favorite, I first have to add it to the map and then I can click it and select "directions to here".
It would be nice to be able to click the favorite in the favorites screen and then immediately be able to select it as destination for the route.1 vote -

autosave when recording journey
autosave file during following and recording position, eg. once a minute.
it is for having most of your trip if app crash durin journey (especially at the end of it!).1 vote
